Oh no I am so bad. I can only do so much computer posting. I posted the Maker's Faire on Twitter and Facebook and forgot to update my own website I have been so busy. Anyway, the show was awesome and thank you so much if you made it out. I don't have another show coming for a while so look for new products and new product photos SOON! I will also hopefully be making a better stab at etsy!

Hello Ezme Friends! Please note I will not be shipping any items from February 4th to the 11th. I have been remiss of late as I have been madly finishing projects I have wanted to get done for years now! It has been awesome and now that my life is more organized I will be taking a small break from Ezme this next week. See you soon!

**Please read me**! The holidays are swiftly approaching and I am swiftly running out of stock. My last show of the season is this weekend, December 13th and 14th at The Cruicible. Since I have been doing so many holiday fairs and my stock has been depleting, please email if you wish to purchase something rather than buy through the website. Wow! Where to begin as I have been so remiss of late on the "news" and it is aplenty so bear with me. We had a fantastic Bazaar Bizarre and are now headed to the ReadyMade Magazine Holiday Show at the Verdi Club from 7:30-11:30pm on December 4th. On the 13th and 14th, we will be at the Crucible's holiday show from 10am-4pm -- check the details here: Crucible Lastly, we are extremly happy that Perch in SF is now carrying Ezme products (particularly those of avian persuasion -- hence "Perch" hee hee), check them out here: Perch
Guess where this little busy bee has been? Yep madly working in the studio for the holiday crush. The first big sale of the season will be at the "BG Craft Fest" this weekend in Walnut Creek's Bedford Gallery. Thank you to everyone who attended the First Ever Hand-Car Regatta event in Santa Rosa on Sunday. The event was AWESOME - like stepping back in time to the steam engine days of the early 1900s. I am REALLY excited to participate in the Steam Trunk Craft Show as part of this year's Handcar-Regatta Exposition in Santa Rosa on September 28th. This free event will feature mechanical wonders, sideshow curiosities, musical performances, and more. New Show Alert beep beep beep! Ezme will be participating in the Rock Make Street Festival on Sunday, August 24th from 11am-6pm between 16th and 17th on Treat Street. It is a free 6 hour celebration of Art and Music and should be a blast. Check it out: Rock Make

I have been remiss as of late. I actually participated in the East Bay Pro Arts Open Studios for the first two weekends of June at my friend Hue and Jason's house! A big thank you to them for including me and watching my stufff while I worked away in the studio making more stuff. Check out their websites listed in my links section (Hue Yang, Jason Dunn and Noelle Nakama all participated (along with some other new ceramics friends!). My classese at the ASUC Studio have thus far been cancelled but I believe they are merely just being postponed until July so keep tuned and sign up! Try to stay cool! It is blistering here especially working all day with the kiln between 1100 and 1900 degrees!!!!
Wow! I have been so busy I didn't even do a Whats News for the Capsule Design Festival that I participated in on May 25th which was lots fun!!! Busy you say? Why yes! Urban Indigo in Oakland, CA will begin carrying Ezme products this week, I have released my new product, the "Lucy" cup for sale on the site, added a new product in the Hot out of the kiln page and wait there's more. Phew gotta catch my breath. I am teaching four one day workshops at the ASUC Studio at UC Berkeley during the month of June. Drumroll and trumpets blowing please... I am VERY, VERY pleased to announce that Ezme Designs has received an "Editor's Choice" award from the editor of "Craft" magazine aka the "Maker Faire Editor's Choice Award" for 2008. From what Chris could see, out of over 70 craft vendors, I was one of five receiving this honorary ribbon. I was so touched as I am not sure I have EVER won any ribbon -- as an art nerd -- I never participated in sports of the such that would earn you "place" ribbons. WOO WHOO! I am rocking on cloud nine right now. Ooo and i am so ready for bed! Love all of you and thank you again for another amazing Maker's Faire experience!
Once again, I can say I LOVE THE MAKER FAIRE!!!! It is so much fun being around creative and interesting types and we saw so much amazing work! Our 6am wakeups were rough but so well worth it!
Okay, I am so sad and so sleepy but I am back without any shark bites from a much needed trip to Oahu. THIS weekend I am gearing up for the Bazaar Bizarre at the Maker's Faire in San Mateo on May 3rd 10-6 and May 4th 11-6. This is an event you do not want to miss! Long time no write! I have been getting over a pinched nerve in my right wrist making it very difficult to work the past month but happily I have been whisked away on vacation in Hawaii until April 28th.
I have finally done it! I have an Etsy shop. Right now I am selling the same products as on my website but eventually, I will use it to post one of a kind products. Etsy
Happy New Year! Wow the year has literally whooshed by and we have been so busy. We had a wonderful time visiting the family for the holidays but I am still being lazy about getting back to work! Have I already messed up on the resolutions? hahahaha. This month I am working on some new ideas so keep tuned. Lots of hugs and hope this year is great for us all, Ezme.
