The design for this plate was originally inspired by tree drawings by J.R.R. Tolkien. I love the idea of having such a huge forest of trees that you can't figure out what trees match which tree stumps. I am also obsessed with topiary trees and the ball shapes of the trees remind me of this fascinating tree art. The sky is a bright salmon pink with a big baby blue moon -- my favorite kind of evening. This dish can be microwaved and is dishwasher safe. These square plates are in extreme limited edition and are hand-painted. Get one before they are gone!
